Alone - Together

The idea for this exhibition was that Jan Eklund and myself might have something common in our photography. 
We spent some time looking at our portfolios and making selections with draft prints all over the place. After a while we had
something in our hands which fit together. When we after long discussions fixed a name it was easier to fine tune the selection. 

We called it Alone -Together (Yksin - Yhdessä) because we had people in all photos either alone or togther with someone. 
Thirty images were framed and all except for one were exibited in Galleria Raami, Johanneksentie 6, Helsinki from 19.5-17.6.2006.

Many thanks to Jan for his contribution and constructive attitude! It was a pleasure to work together. Without his
participation I would still be hesitating about going to a commercial gallery ...

We followed up in February 2007 with a second exhibition with the same theme. 
This time the exhibition took place in galleriZebra, Karis.
The amount of images was considersably increased as the gallery space was bigger.
